The new, state-of-the-art website will have updated navigation that is easy to use, with various links throughout the website so viewers can easily find their way to the information they need. A new visual design will give the website a friendlier, more attractive front end. The administrators at the Department of Emergency Services will include content management capabilities for numerous pages throughout the website, so they can quickly and easily update specific information. In addition to access to Public Safety information and resources, the new website will provide MDE Tier 2 reporting, a rules-based employees portal and comprehensive administrator access to manage the website.

Talbot County's Department of Emergency Services is the blending of the Emergency Management Agency and the Emergency Medical Services division.  This entity is responsible for emergency medical services, 911 services, planning for and responding to a number of natural and man-made disasters. "Home of the Brave" was founded by Tina Pearson, who has a large 3 bedroom house in the Berlin, MD area and will be opening up the home similar to a bed & breakfast for soldiers who have just returned home from overseas. The soldiers and their families can stay there for up to one week, free of charge, in order to relax and enjoy the area. The "Home of the Brave" project relies on donations.

The purpose of the "Home of the Brave" website is to inform the public of what the project is and the benefits it possesses. The website will describe Pearson's home and various activities in the area, as well as list the eligibility requirements for guests, and provide a form that interested parties can submit to request a stay. The website will provide a photo gallery with photos of the home and area, links to sponsors and area event calendars and the ability to accept donations for the project. The new website for Delaware Home & Environmental Services is an informational website that will explain the services they provide and how to contact them. It will include information on various types of mold as well as a photo gallery displaying photographs of the mold types.

Delaware Home & Environmental Services offer complete board certified mold inspection for your private or rental property. To begin, they will perform a complete visual inspection of your home. Then they will take air and tape/swab samples to test for mold that may not be visible. After testing, they will share the laboratory tests and recommend a solution, depending on the findings. Care2 was in need of a web-based Risks & Needs Assessment System that allowed for professional therapists to create an account, purchase assessment screenings, and access assessment history. Vantage Point will develop, support and maintain this system.

The idea behind the Care2 is to provide educators, social workers and others the power to provide at-risk children and teens with the nurturing and support that they need in order to get a second chance at life. This tool measures the risk factors associated with youth violence, scoring the responses and helps clinicians gauge the intensity of potential behavior problems as well as the appropriate level / type of intervention required.

Vantage Point Solutions Group was founded in 2007 as the result of a merger between Beacon Technologies (est. 1992) and TechSolutions (est. 1999). Dana Seiler, Principal, has announced that the Delmarva Regional Healthcare Mutual Aid Group (DRHMAG) has selected Vantage Point Solutions Group, LLC to design and develop a dynamic website portal featuring the ability for the group to share healthcare information, resources and supplies between their members.

The system also includes a portal to provide the public with advisories and alerts, emergency preparation resources, operations and planning and information about the organization.

Vantage Point and DRHMAG are working closely to launch the website in early September 2009.

Doug Church, Principal of Vantage Point Solutions Group LLC., announced today the company has been awarded the renewal of a one year contract by NASA to support the northbound diverse IP data service for a wide area network connection. This service will connect the administrative LAN at Wallops Flight Facility in Wallops Island, VA to the administrative LAN located at the Goddard Space Flight Center located in Greenbelt, MD utilizing the Maryland Broadband Cooperative (MDBC) fiber network. The purpose of this data connection will be to serve as a backup to an existing point-to-point OC-3 circuit that NASA Wallops Flight Facility is currently using.

As a part of the award, VPSG will provide monitoring and support of a 100 MB OC-3 routed IP data service between specified buildings at both the Wallops Flight Facility and the Goddard Space Flight Center using the fiber network of the Maryland Broadband Cooperative. The service will include controlled internet access on a non-dedicated circuit.

The support service provides immediate response to network issues through the use of an automated support system which will notify responsible VPSG personnel for immediate response. Additionally, through VPSG's TechConnect support system, Wallops Flight Facility and Goddard Space Flight Center will be able to track problem resolution in a proactive, real-time environment to meet their needs. Another key feature is the TechConnect knowledge base which allows personnel to quickly find historical resolutions to past problems.

“We’re excited for the opportunity to provide [these services] to NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility and the Goddard Space Flight Center,” said Doug Church.

Salisbury, MD - Beacon Technologies, the web design and development division of Vantage Point Solutions Group in Salisbury, announces the launch of the redesigned website for Rapture Ready Ministries (http://www.rapturereadyministries.com).

With an enormous amount of growth over the past few months, Rapture Ready Ministries was outgrowing its traditional means of communication to its congregation. Beacon was able to offer a more effective and efficient approach at informing not only congregation, but public as well through a new web presence.

As the church grew, church representative Karen Haggins contacted Beacon in an effort to solve many problems currently being taken on by the church. Not only was communicating the events of the church becoming problematic, but providing a place where members of the church and guests alike could contact different members of the administration seemed necessary.

Beacon was able to build a website that became a simple solution to the evident needs of Rapture Ready Ministries. Beacon took on another one of the client’s requests and extended their services to accommodate the need to accept financial donations for the church. Beacon utilized a free online donation service crafted for churches and non-profit organizations called, JustGive.org. With this add-on to the website, the church is able to direct people to their website in order to receive financial donations no matter the distance or time of day.
