SALISBURY, MD - Vantage Point Solutions Group, the I.T., web development and marketing company, based in Salisbury, MD, recently opened a new location in Downtown Annapolis.

Vantage Point Solutions Group was founded in 2007 as the result of a merger between Beacon Technologies (est. 1992) and TechSolutions (est. 1999). This merger combined the strengths of Beacon's web and application development team with the expertise of TechSolutions' IT services staff, thus creating a single full service technology company with a robust and fully developed list of competencies.

After retaining a number of clients in the Annapolis / Baltimore corridor, the need for an additional physical presence was identified. On October 1, 2009 Vantage Point officially opened their Downtown Annapolis location. Doug Church, one of the founders of the company, has relocated to Annapolis to establish the business presence and handle local staffing.

Vantage Point's business philosophy is to work with small to mid size businesses in a partnership capacity, not simply a "techie." The new BIKETOO website (www.biketooinc.com) comprehensively details everything you need to know about the motorized cycle. It explains the concept of the motorized bike, its benefits and customization abilities. The idea behind BIKETOO began with the long-time friendship between Drew Phillips and Phil Adkins. They wanted to revolutionize and modernize the cycling experience. Drew is the brainpower behind the engineering and construction of all the facets of BIKETOO and constructed the prototype. Phil secured the patents for the design and engineering and interfaced with agencies, labs and vendors to be sure that BIKETOO met / exceeded the specifications set by the Government.

Dana Seiler, Principal, has announced that the Delmarva Regional Healthcare Mutual Aid Group (DRHMAG) has selected Vantage Point Solutions Group, LLC to design and develop a dynamic website portal featuring the ability for the group to share healthcare information, resources and supplies between their members.

The system also includes a portal to provide the public with advisories and alerts, emergency preparation resources, operations and planning and information about the organization.

Vantage Point and DRHMAG are working closely to launch the website in early September 2009.

Doug Church, Principal of Vantage Point Solutions Group LLC., announced today the company has been awarded the renewal of a one year contract by NASA to support the northbound diverse IP data service for a wide area network connection. This service will connect the administrative LAN at Wallops Flight Facility in Wallops Island, VA to the administrative LAN located at the Goddard Space Flight Center located in Greenbelt, MD utilizing the Maryland Broadband Cooperative (MDBC) fiber network. The purpose of this data connection will be to serve as a backup to an existing point-to-point OC-3 circuit that NASA Wallops Flight Facility is currently using.

As a part of the award, VPSG will provide monitoring and support of a 100 MB OC-3 routed IP data service between specified buildings at both the Wallops Flight Facility and the Goddard Space Flight Center using the fiber network of the Maryland Broadband Cooperative. The service will include controlled internet access on a non-dedicated circuit.

The support service provides immediate response to network issues through the use of an automated support system which will notify responsible VPSG personnel for immediate response. Additionally, through VPSG's TechConnect support system, Wallops Flight Facility and Goddard Space Flight Center will be able to track problem resolution in a proactive, real-time environment to meet their needs. Another key feature is the TechConnect knowledge base which allows personnel to quickly find historical resolutions to past problems.

Salisbury, MD – Beacon Technologies, the web design and development division of Vantage Point Solutions Group in Salisbury, announces the launch of the redesigned website for Rapture Ready Ministries (http://www.rapturereadyministries.com).

With an enormous amount of growth over the past few months, Rapture Ready Ministries was outgrowing its traditional means of communication to its congregation. Beacon was able to offer a more effective and efficient approach at informing not only congregation, but public as well through a new web presence.

As the church grew, church representative Karen Haggins contacted Beacon in an effort to solve many problems currently being taken on by the church. Not only was communicating the events of the church becoming problematic, but providing a place where members of the church and guests alike could contact different members of the administration seemed necessary.

Beacon was able to build a website that became a simple solution to the evident needs of Rapture Ready Ministries. Beacon took on another one of the client’s requests and extended their services to accommodate the need to accept financial donations for the church. Beacon utilized a free online donation service crafted for churches and non-profit organizations called, JustGive.org. With this add-on to the website, the church is able to direct people to their website in order to receive financial donations no matter the distance or time of day.

Visual Impact is selected to design the 2007 annual report. In the creation of the annual report, we used photos of the employees and the members to encompass what a true cooperative is. It only works when the members work as a community. This is what we were trying to convey along with all the financial information, using graphs and charts to enhance the report and have a more visual appeal.

Vantage Point Solutions Group was recently selected by the Coastal Association of Realtors (CAR) to become the exclusive IT service provider for the roughly 1,200 member association located in Berlin, Md. The partnership will provide the CAR with TechSolution’s new proactive managed services known as the ‘Solutions Suite.’

Managed Services programs are designed to allow TechSolution’s engineers to manage and monitor the performance of the IT infrastructure including servers, routers, switches and desktops, remotely (from our office) with the same level and quality of IT services as if we were on the customer’s premises. SALISBURY, MD---The Salisbury University Foundation, Inc. recently elected a new board member and long-time SU supporter Doug Church, principal of TechSolutions (a division of Vantage Point Solutions Group).

As a board member of the SU Foundation, Church will help promote SU students higher education and encourage future leaders of the Salisbury community.

A 2003 graduate of Salisbury University, Church achieved a degree in Finance and MIS. Throughout his tenure at SU, Church was an active in numerous student organizations including the student government association where he served three terms as an executive board member.

“My tenure at Salisbury and my role as a student leader both on campus and off was a rewarding experience. An experience that has really helped me with my professional endeavors over the last few years.,” said Church.

Church is currently the Principal of the company he founded while a Freshman at SU, TechSolutions. This company has grown to become one of the region’s leading IT Service providers. Church is also co-owner of the recently formed parent company, Vantage Point Solutions Group. He is an active participant in the Shore Leadership Program for 2008, a current member of the City of Salisbury Central District Commission, and the Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce. Past involvements include American Cancer Society and Urban Salisbury.
