The Coastal Association of Realtors (CAR) has experienced tremendous growth over the past few years. This growth had them looking for ways to offer more robust services for members while also streamlining operations to prevent additional costs and reduce errors. Vantage Point Solutions Group was retained to identify ways in which a better use of technology would increase their efficiency and bring more value to the membership base.

After an in-depth evaluation of the internal processes and systems, VPSG worked with the CAR staff and board of directors to create a new web based system that would provide additional services to the membership base and automate many of the labor—and paper—intense tasks. This new system linked the proprietary internal system and the MLS system so that there is a real time data interchange, which removes the need for duplicate data entry. Members are now able to access CAR services and information in an easy and secure manner—24 hours a day.

Accurate Optical

With 12 locations throughout Maryland, Delaware and South Carolina, Accurate Optical relies on technology to share patient information, manage the various practices areas and accurately process orders. As management began implementing a new integrated electronic medical records system (EMR) and practice management solution, they looked to Vantage Point Solutions Group to assist in linking the various locations (with a HIPAA compliant solution) and creating a systems migration strategy. By leveraging the expertise of the VPSG professionals they were able to gain access to various solutions and vendors that the internal IT staff was not familiar with. Likewise, the consultants at VPSG were able to work side-by-side with the internal IT manager to ensure that the proposed solution would work with the hardware and other ancillary systems. Together we (the consultants at Vantage Point, the executives at Accurate Optical and the internal IT staff) were able to deliver a comprehensive connectivity solution and a migration strategy that reduces headaches, downtime and prevents lost revenue.
